The Problem:

TiLights are a new revolution in the world, especially in the third world where power crisis are on its peak and people living in such countries have no other options but to light a candle to defeat the imposed darkness.

Following idea is very similar to my previously posted idea titled “A New Idea for Paints and Color Manufacturers” (30th November 2009). Repeating my words again, this solution is quite beneficial for the masses living in electricity-deprived regions such as Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and the like.

This new idea will help tackle imposed darkness and multiplied weather severity due to regular power outages and electric load shedding.

The Idea:

TiLights are actually the tiled covering of roofs, walls and floors with extra shine and cool so that in absence of electricity, the same tiles can also serve the purpose of emergency lights lessening the heated conditions of the rooms as well.

In a nutshell, just colors, paints and distempers, a load-shedding friendly version of tiles is the need of the hour. All walls and floors of our homes and offices need tiles with additional glowing and cooling effects to give our rooms both possible shine and low temperature during electric load-shedding and power breakdown.

There are hundreds of kinds of tiles available in the market with exclusive features according to the consumer needs and requirements. But such tiles are of no use when it comes to countries and localities where regular power outages and electric load-shedding is a mandatory part of life.

Just like paints and colours, no such innovation has been even introduced in the market by tile manufacturers. They are happy with their existing products which are absolutely ineffective to cater all needs of people living in these countries. Thus, there is a need to think upon making TiLights.
