The Idea:

Scratch cards have become frequently-used items in our daily lives and many service providers, belonging to different trading sectors, offer payment options through scratchcards.

For example, a majority of prepaid customers using telecommunication services are served through scratchcards of different denominations for mandatory balance upload.

Usually, these scratchcards are manually scratched by using one’s finger or other small devices sometimes used such as coins etc. But a slight modification in making of scratchcards can offer companies a real benefit and edge leading towards a new but very useful invention all in all.

This idea pertains to a ‘Scratcher’, a scratching device attached with every prepaid scratchcard.

The proposed ‘Scratcher’ can be a small nail-shaped device which could be worn on a thumb’s nail so as to scratch the concealed PINs or numbers without dirtying or disfiguring your nails. Or, the proposed scratching device can also be made in other shapes.

In addition, a very small modification in its design can also turn a certain portion of a prepaid card into a scratching device without costing any further.

This feature will mostly appeal female customers but could be equally enjoyed by bother gender.

Offered with every scratchcard, the proposed ‘Scratcher’ (scratching device) will be a unique add-on with greater chances for consumer acceptability and wide approval in the target markets.
