The Idea: Motorcycles (and other vehicles) should be sold after weighing on an exclusive weight measurement machine so as to show the difference between a quality bike and substandard bike made up with rather second-rate low-quality materials. The Problem: After arrival of various brands of low-priced China-made motorcycles in the local market in such a high inflation period, it has become very difficult for big motorcycle manufacturing companies to sell off their bikes despite offering a quality product to consumers in comparison with new China-made entries. Due to the considerable low-price factor, low-quality bikes have become a hot cake for local motorcycle sellers whereas quality bikes becoming a second choice for local consumers ultimately. For example, Yamaha recently launched their new brand named "Yamaha Dhoom" but because of availability of rather inexpensive bikes to the local consumers, Yamaha Dhoom couldn't become a huge success. Yamaha and other reputable brands like Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, etc. are supposed to be quality products but having a hard time vis-à-vis low-quality bikes. To resolve this matter, all motorcycle companies should offer weight measurement facilities in their showrooms as quality bikes are always heavier in weight in comparison with low-quality motorcycles made up with inferior parts and second best mechanical components. By this way, consumers could easily know the difference between a genuine bike and low-quality bike composed of lightweight metals and second-class components. Thus, an increase in sales as well as quality consciousness will be realized in the local market after this.
